From a young age he showed a passion for animation, which led him to create the critically acclaimed student short film "Il Pasticcere". This success earned him a scholarship to begin as Animator at Cartoon Network Studios in London. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Di Molfetta has collaborated with numerous productions, directors, artists and animation studios around the world. He was a Key Animator for three seasons of the popular TV series "The Amazing World of Gumball" in the UK and Germany. In 2014, he moved to Canada to work on TV series produced by Disney, Warner Bros and DreamWorks. In 2016, he produced and directed the award-winning animated short film "The n.a.p." in Italy, which further consolidated his skills in the animated film field. Di Molfetta has also contributed to animated commercials, short films, music videos and augmented reality projects. A notable achievement in his career was serving as Supervisor and Lead Animator for a short film by Bruno Bozzetto, working closely with the celebrated Film Director. Currently, Di Molfetta continues to create independent films and work on projects for film and TV in his studio. He shares his knowledge and expertise with children and adult students, leading workshops, conferences, labs and classes on animated cinema and animation drawing.
